Makyo is defined in "The Three Pillars of Zen" as the phenomena - visions, hallucinations, fantasies, revalations, and illusory sensations - that one practicing zazen is apt to experience at a particular stage in their sitting.

This melody and idea for the sound of the piece came to me during a meditation.. so, I named it what it was.
